Mantas Kvedaravičius 在他 2015 年第一部《Mariupolis》中对于当时的 Azovstal 钢铁厂安静到些许诗意的记录，亚速营的背景影响还不那么明显，很难联想到七年后重返拍摄就丧生于此。通过一个剧团为即将到来的 9. May 胜利日四次彩排的人员数目&说辞心态变化，与另一位想成为新闻记者的钓鱼女孩在爆炸跟访后参加婚礼的现实对比，扯开那些舆论宣传和政客煽动渲染的幕布。浅焦近景镜头突出角色不少局部特点，萧瑟的动物园，笼中困兽聊赖；修鞋的父亲说着古典雕塑都是兄弟姊妹，可这类推至艺术维度的物化实则逃避真实人权问题。当时 Mantas 也拍下了生活在马里乌波尔几十年的老兵和年轻占领军的对峙，彼时还没到剑拔弩张兵戎相见的地步……
